Inleiding
PAKHUIS gebouwd rond 1925 in opdracht van Gerson Levie. Het ontwerp is waarschijnlijk van Joh. D. Meppelink. Het relatief hoge gebouw ligt aan het water en stipuleert de havenfunctie van Coevorden. De na-oorlogse uitbreiding aan de zuidkant valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving.
Het op een rechthoekige grondslag gebaseerde pakhuis van veertien traveeën diep is opgetrokken in baksteen en omvat vier bouwlagen. Het wordt gedekt door een zadeldak belegd met een muldenpan. De bakstenen gevels worden geleed door gemetselde lisenen, getoogde luiken of vensters met hanekam van rode verblendsteen; lange smeedijzeren staafankers. De oostelijke topgevel heeft een symmetrische hoofdvorm met onder meer een trijs en bevestigingspunten voor een losvloer.
Waardering
Pakhuis van cultuurhistorisch belang in relatie tot het gehele complex. Stedebouwkundig van essentieel belang in relatie tot het te beschermen stadsgezicht. Architectuurhistorisch van belang vanwege de specifieke functie, typologie en relatief hoge mate van gaafheid.

The warehouse, based on a rectangular ground plan with fourteen bays in depth, is constructed in brick and comprises four storeys. It is covered by a gabled roof laid with curved barrel tiles. The brick facades are articulated by moulded pilasters, arched shutters or windows with rooster-comb combs of red facing brick; long wrought-iron bar anchors. The eastern gable has a symmetrical principal form with, among other things, a hoist pulley and fixing points for a movable floor.
