Inleiding
KANTOOR en PAKHUIS. Het kantoor (het voorste gedeelte van het gebouw), is gebouwd in 1908 naar ontwerp van Joh. D. Meppelink. Het pakhuis is rond 1880 gebouwd en heeft aan de noordzijde een houten aanbouw.
Omschrijving.
Kantoor met een souterrain, een bouwlaag en een hoektorentje met smeedijzeren windvaan. Entree met stoep in de zijgevel. De architectuur van het kantoor is vergelijkbaar met die van het woonhuis. Het in baksteen opgetrokken pakhuis heeft twee bouwlagen; staafankers; halfronde gietijzeren ramen met vorktracering; goot op klossen. De achtergevel is een eenvoudige tuitgevel met staafankers, gietijzeren ramen (waaronder een rondvenster) en losdeuren. Het geheel wordt gedekt door een zadeldak dat aan de noordzijde deels is doorgetrokken ten behoeve van de houten aanbouw.
Waardering
Kantoor en pakhuis zijn van cultuurhistorisch belang in relatie tot het gehele complex. Stedebouwkundig vormt het gebouw de schakel tussen de bebouwing aan het Kasteel en de haven, waardoor het van essentieel belang is voor het te beschermen stadsgezicht. Architectuurhistorisch is het gebouw van belang vanwege de relatie met het oorspronkelijke woonhuis en vanwege de specifieke typologische ontwikkeling van het pakhuis. Tenslotte is sprake van een relatief hoge mate van gaafheid.

The rear facade is a simple spout gable with bar anchors, cast-iron windows (including a circular window) and loose doors. The whole is covered by a gabled roof which is partly extended on the north side for the wooden extension.

The office and warehouse are of cultural-historical importance in relation to the entire complex. In terms of urban planning, the building forms the link between the buildings at the Kasteel and the harbour, making it of essential importance for the townscape to be protected.
