Omschrijving
Witgepleisterde villa, die in 1847 met gebruikmaking van een huis uit 1840 gebouwd werd. In 1853 met o.a. twee zijvleugels en een gietijzeren waranda door architect H.F.G.N. Camp uitgebreid. Witgepleisterde klassicistische villa met twee verdiepingen tellend middendeel en een verdieping hoge zijvleugels. Plat afgedekte daken, met balustrade, deels opengewerkt, op tweede verdieping. Vazen op de hoeken. Vensters (deels met luiken) en openslaande deuren naar de gietijzeren waranda op de begane grond en vensters met hoofdgestel en luiken op de verdieping. Rechthoekige, gedeelde zolderlichten. Portiek voor de ingangspartij, dat de gietijzeren overhuiving op dito ondersteunen draagt van de verdieping. In het interieur Rode en Blauwe salon met Seconde-empire inrichting. In het park een zandstenen beeld van Mars (XIXa). Het gebouw is aan ex- en interieur een goed voorbeeld van een representatieve villa uit het midden van de 19e eeuw in een laat neo-klassicistische stijl.

Description
Whitewashed villa, which in 1847 was built making use of a house from 1840. In 1853 extended with amongst others two side wings and a cast-iron veranda by architect H.F.G.N. Camp. Whitewashed classicistic villa with a two-storey central section and one-storey side wings. Flat covered roofs, with balustrade, partly openwork, on the second storey. Urns on the corners. Windows (partly with shutters) and glazed doors to the cast-iron veranda at ground level and windows with pediments and shutters on the storey. Rectangular, divided roof lights. Portico in front of the entrance section, which the cast-iron canopy on corresponding supports of the storey carries. In the interior Red and Blue salon with Second-empire furnishings. In the park a sandstone statue of Mars (first half of the 19th century). The building is on exterior and interior a good example of a representative villa from the middle of the 19th century in a late neo-classical style.
