Inleiding.
Vrijstaande villa uit 1897, gebouwd in neo-renaissance door architect J. Steenbeek. NB. De uitbreiding uit 1964 aan de achterzijde valt niet onder de bescherming. Omschrijving.
Villa Rosina op rechthoekige plattegrond, bestaande uit souterrain, beletage en verdieping onder een afgeknot schilddak met halfronde leien. De gevel is drie assen breed. De rechteras is licht risalerend uitgebouwd en wordt beëindigd door een gepleisterde boog die in het midden wordt doorbroken door een rondboogvormig tweelichtvenster met een rechte kroonlijst op consoles, waarboven een driehoekig fronton. Terugliggend ten opzichte van de voorgevel verheft zich boven de linkeras een torentje met rondboogfries onder de daklijst, bekroond door een achthoekige lantaarn met spits. Het souterrain is aan de voorzijde uitgevoerd als sokkel, bestaande uit gepleisterde blokken met rustica-effect. De gevels zijn ter plaatse van de verdiepingen in schoon metselwerk uitgevoerd, afgewisseld met de voor de neo-renaissance kenmerkende horizontale witte speklagen en hoekblokken. Aan de rechterkant van de beletage is een veelhoekige erker uitgebouwd met rondboogvormige glas-in-lood bovenlichten tussen geprofileerde pilasters. Boven de erker bevindt zich een klein balkon met balusters. Links van de erker boven het souterrain is een bordes met een smeedijzeren hek. De ingang met smeedijzeren panelen is aan de linkerkant in een portiek met kleine rondboogvormige bovenlichten van glas-in-lood. Hierboven in de hoek een kwartrond uitgebouwde erker. De vensters worden afgesloten door rechte kroonlijsten; het venster op de verdieping in de linkeras heeft een extra bekroning in de vorm van een driehoekig fronton met pirons. De vensters op de verdieping in de rechtergevel zijn als blindnissen uitgevoerd. In het interieur zijn onder meer stucplafonds, marmeren lambrizeringen op de begane grond, de trap met gietijzeren balusters en de paneeldeuren met omlijsting in het trappenhuis bewaard gebleven. Het trappenhuis wordt verlicht via een groot venster van glas-in-lood. Ook het interieur van het torentje met afzonderlijk klein trappenhuis is nog intact. De afscheiding tussen voortuin en straat wordt gevormd door een ijzeren hek. Waardering.
Villa van architectuurhistorische waarde als representatief voorbeeld van een laat 19e-eeuwse villa in neo-renaissance. Hoofdvorm, detaillering, toegepast materiaal en delen van het interieur zijn gaaf bewaard.

Villa Rosina on a rectangular plan, consisting of basement, piano nobile and first floor under a hipped roof with half-round slates. The facade is three bays wide. The right bay is slightly projecting and is terminated by a plastered arch which is interrupted in the middle by a semicircular two-light window with a straight cornice on consoles, above which a triangular pediment. Recessed with respect to the front facade, a small turret rises above the left bay with a semicircular frieze under the roof line, crowned by an octagonal lantern with spire. The basement is executed at the front as a socle, consisting of plastered blocks with rustication effect. The facades at the level of the storeys are executed in fair-faced brickwork, alternated with the white lime joints characteristic of neo-Renaissance and corner stones. On the right side of the piano nobile a polygonal bay is built out with semicircular leaded glass fanlights between profiled pilasters. Above the bay is a small balcony with balusters. To the left of the bay above the basement is a portico with a wrought iron gate. The entrance with wrought iron panels is on the left side in a porch with small semicircular leaded glass fanlights. In the corner above this a quarter-round bay is built out. The windows are terminated by straight cornices; the window on the first floor in the left bay has an additional crown in the form of a triangular pediment with finials. The windows on the first floor in the right facade are executed as blind niches. In the interior, stucco ceilings, marble wainscoting on the ground floor, the staircase with cast iron balusters and the panelled doors with surround in the stairwell have been preserved. The stairwell is lit via a large leaded glass window. The interior of the small turret with separate small staircase is also still intact. The boundary between front garden and street is formed by an iron railing. Valuation.
