Inleiding.
Vrijstaande door een tuin omgeven eclectische villa "Emma" uit 1886 op samengestelde plattegrond naar ontwerp van H. Wesstra jr.. De tuin wordt van de straat gescheiden door een authentiek ijzeren hekwerk. Omschrijving.
Het pand bestaat uit parterre en verdieping met rechts een zolderverdieping, vier vensterassen breed. Het linkerdeel wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met de nok loodrecht op de voorgevel. De gevels waren oorspronkelijk in schoon metselwerk uitgevoerd maar zijn na 1945 bepleisterd. Het linkergedeelte van de voorgevel springt naar voren en heeft een gesloten veranda met drie akroteria. Deze veranda uit 1914 vervangt de vroegere serre, die in het terugliggende rechtergedeelte aan de voorzijde nog aanwezig is en een geschulpte daklijstversiering bezit plus een borstwering met drie siervazen. De vensters in de verdieping van het vooruitspringende deel hebben geprofileerde rondbogen op imposten. In het houten bovendeel van de gevel een oculus geflankeerd door cartouches met de naam van de villa. De geveltop bezit een vooruitstekende daklijst op korbelen, versierd met rijk snijwerk en bekroond door een windwijzer. Tegen de linker zijgevel een aanbouw van een vensteras met terugliggende verdieping waarop een balustrade. De begane grond van deze aanbouw was vroeger de garage die in 1948 gedeeltelijk bij de voorkamer is getrokken. Aan de achterzijde een puntgevel met windveer en bekronende windwijzer. Waardering.
