Vrijgelegen portiersloge uit 1905-1907 op nagenoeg vierkante plattegrond in overgangsarchitectuur bestaande uit een bouwlaag onder een met gesmoorde pannen gedekt schilddak. Het twee vensterassen brede pand is opgetrokken in schoon metselwerk met hardstenen plint, vensterlateien en sierbanden. Elke hoek van de gevel wordt gevormd door een bakstenen penant die de dakgoot doorsnijdt en eindigt in een hardstenen sierdekking. Op de nokeinden van de kap zijn twee pirons aangebracht. De houten schuifvensters hebben bovenlichten met kleine roedeverdeling. Boven de vensters aan de straatzijde is een tegeltableau met bruine letters op geel fond met vermelding "Gemeente Gasfabriek". Tegen de achtergevel is een houten serre op bakstenen balustrade en een kleine uitbouw van een bouwlaag met plat dak, aan alle zijden voorzien van ramen met roedeverdeling. Boven de serre is in het dakvlak een uurwerk aangebracht. Waardering.

Detached porter's lodge from 1905-1907 on an approximately square ground plan in transitional architecture consisting of one storey under a hipped roof covered with pan tiles. The two window bays wide building is executed in fair-faced brickwork with freestone plinth, window mullions and ornamental bands. Each corner of the façade is formed by a brick penant which intersects the roof gutter and terminates in a freestone ornamental capping. On the ridge ends of the roof two pirons are placed. The wooden sash windows have fanlights with small glazing bars. Above the windows on the street side is a tile tableau with brown letters on yellow ground with the inscription "Gemeente Gasfabriek". Against the rear façade is a wooden conservatory on brick balustrade and a small extension of one storey with flat roof, provided on all sides with windows with glazing bars. Above the conservatory a clock mechanism is placed in the roof plane. Evaluation.
