Omschrijving
Segment van verdedigingswerk vesting Muiden, deel uitmakend van de Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. Het werk bestaat uit een aanleg van aardwerken, gracht en bijbehorende bebouwing en objecten zoals hierna genoemd.
De aanleg vormt het zuidelijk deel van de vesting Muiden en omvat de courtine tussen bastion IX en bastion X en voorliggende natte gracht met daarin een ravelijn.
Op het ravelijn bevindt zich een grondgedekt bomvrij wachthuis met kanonremise (gebouw H). In de natte gracht, ten noorden van het ravelijn, bevindt zich een schutsluis/keersluis (Keetpoortsluis). In de natte gracht, ten zuiden van het ravelijn, bevindt zich een gemetselde sluisbeer.

Description
Segment of defensive work Muiden fortress, part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. The work consists of an arrangement of earthworks, moat and associated structures and objects as named below.
The arrangement forms the southerly part of Muiden fortress and comprises the curtain between bastion IX and bastion X and foreground wet moat with a ravelin situated in it.
On the ravelin there is a bombproof guard house with gun shed (building H). In the wet moat, to the north of the ravelin, there is a lock gate/check gate (Keetpoortsluis). In the wet moat, to the south of the ravelin, there is a masonry sluice gate.
