Omschrijving
Segment van verdedigingswerk vesting Muiden, deel uitmakend van de Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. Het werk bestaat uit een aanleg van aardwerken, gracht en bijbehorende bebouwing en objecten zoals hierna genoemd.
De aanleg is het zuidwestelijk deel van de vesting Muiden en omvat de courtine tussen bastion X en bastion XI, voorliggende natte gracht met het daarin gelegen ravelijn.
In de natte gracht, ten oosten van het ravelijn, bevindt zich een schutsluis/keersluis (Weesperpoortsluis). In de natte gracht, ten westen van het ravelijn, bevindt zich een gemetselde sluisbeer. Op de courtine bevindt zich een sluiswachterswoning.

Description
Segment of defensive work Muiden fortress, part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. The work consists of an arrangement of earthworks, moat and associated structures and objects as named below.
The arrangement is the south-westerly part of Muiden fortress and comprises the curtain between bastion X and bastion XI, foreground wet moat with the ravelin situated in it.
In the wet moat, to the east of the ravelin, there is a lock gate/check gate (Weesperpoortsluis). In the wet moat, to the west of the ravelin, there is a masonry sluice gate. On the curtain there is a lock keeper's dwelling.
