Inleiding.
Vrijstaande eclectische villa uit 1882-1883 op vrijwel vierkante plattegrond, ontworpen door P.W. Munze.en H. de Baan. Een ijzeren tuinhek vormt de begrenzing met de straat. Bij een verbouwing in 1922 werd de oorspronkelijke afgeschuinde hoek van de veranda rechtgetrokken.
Omschrijving.
Villa bestaande uit parterre en verdieping onder een met shingles gedekte mansardekap. De bakstenen gevels zijn voorzien van een geblokte bepleistering. De gevel aan de straatzijde is met de afgeschuinde zijde aan de linkerkant meegerekend vijf vensterassen breed. In de middelste travee is de ingang; dit is een dubbele houten paneeldeur met glas-in-lood bovenlicht. Zijdelings ervan zijn houten openslaande deuren met glas-in-lood bovenlichten. De geprofileerde kozijnen op de verdieping worden beëindigd door hoofdgestellen. De openslaande deuren hebben ook hier glas-in-lood bovenlichten. In de afgeschuinde zijde is een houten T-venster met glas-in-lood bovenlicht. Boven de as van de hoofdingang is een dakkapel met fronton met aan weerskanten opengewerkte voluten. Zijdelings ervan twee oeil-de-boeufs. Over de volle breedte van de voorgevel en de afgeschuinde linker hoektravee is een warande met hardstenen geprofileerde plint en een houten balustrade. Ter hoogte van de verdieping is een doorlopend terras, gedragen door houten pilaren. De balustrade van dit terras heeft dezelfde vormgeving als die van de warande. De ingang is te bereiken via het bordes met hardstenen trap.

Villa consisting of ground floor and upper storey beneath a shingle-covered mansard roof. The brick facades are provided with rusticated plasterwork. The facade on the street side, including the chamfered side on the left, is five bays wide. In the central bay is the entrance; this is a double wooden panelled door with stained-glass fanlight. Beside it are wooden glazed doors with stained-glass fanlights. The profiled frames on the upper storey are terminated by main frames. The glazed doors also have stained-glass fanlights here. In the chamfered side is a wooden T-shaped window with stained-glass fanlight. Above the axis of the main entrance is a roof dormer with pediment with openwork volutes on either side. Beside it two oculi. Across the full width of the front facade and the chamfered left corner bay is a pergola with profiled hardstone plinth and a wooden balustrade. At the level of the upper storey is a continuous terrace, supported by wooden posts. The balustrade of this terrace has the same design as that of the pergola. The entrance is reached via the landing with hardstone staircase.
