Een achttiende-eeuws pand met een mansardekap loodrecht op de werf.
Hoewel dit huis, doordat het geheel op de werf van de Oudegracht is georiënteerd, geen kelder heeft, heeft de beganegrond wel oorspronkelijk een opslagfunctie. Pas vanaf de eerste verdieping is er sprake van een woning.
De gevel heeft dan ook twee deuren. Zowel de voor- als de achtergevel geven de indruk dat de zolder een werkelijke verdieping is. De kap is in de negentiende eeuw verbouwd tot een mansardekap, waarbij het onderste juk bewaard is gebleven.
Verder is het pand, met enkelvoudige grenen balklagen, volledig achttiende-eeuws. Op de beganegrond is onder de balklaag een negentiende-eeuws tongewelf aangebracht.
De linker muur is van middeleeuwse opzet, wat duidt op een ongeveer even hoge middeleeuwse voorganger. In de vroege negentiende of late achttiende eeuw is dit pand samengevoegd met de twee noordelijker gelegen buurpanden en met Twijnstraat 15, en verbouwd tot bedrijfspand. Hierbij is de gootlijst over die aan de werf gelegen panden doorgetrokken.

Description
An eighteenth-century building with a mansard roof perpendicular to the courtyard.
Although this house, as it is entirely oriented towards the courtyard of the Oudegracht, has no basement, the ground floor originally had a storage function. Only from the first storey onwards is it a residence.
The facade accordingly has two doors. Both the front and rear gables give the impression that the loft is an actual storey. The roof was converted to a mansard roof in the nineteenth century, with the lower tie-beam being retained.
Otherwise the building, with simple pine beam layers, is entirely eighteenth-century. On the ground floor a nineteenth-century barrel vault has been inserted under the beam layer.
The left wall is of medieval design, suggesting a roughly equally high medieval predecessor. In the early nineteenth or late eighteenth century this building was merged with the two neighbouring buildings to the north and with Twijnstraat 15, and converted to business premises. In doing so, the cornice line was carried across those buildings located on the courtyard.
The building is important as an eighteenth-century house located on the courtyard of the Oudegracht.
