Omschrijving
Pand bestaande uit een diep huis aan de Twijnstraat, met de kap loodrecht op de straat, en een dwars achterhuis dat achter de linker zijmuur doorloopt.
Het voorhuis is twee lagen hoog met een kap. De lijstgevel is twee traveeën breed en heeft voor de zolderverdieping lage vensters. De winkelpui heeft een centraal etalageraam met aan weerszijden een deur (waarvan de linker naar de bovenwoning) tussen vier pilasters met composiet kapitelen.
Het pand heeft een middeleeuwse kelder evenwijdig aan de straat met troggewelven op twee gordelbogen, waarachter (niet toegankelijk) een kelder die een tongewelf evenwijdig aan de straat heeft dat in Twijnstraat 12 in het haaks hierop staande tongewelf steekt (momenteel zijn de kelders gescheiden). De kelders lopen niet door onder het achterhuis.
Het dwarsliggende achterhuis is een 17e eeuwse aanbouw van twee bouwlagen achter Twijnstraat 12 en 14 met mogelijk oorspronkelijk een stenen scheidingsmuur in het midden van het gebouw.

Description
Building consisting of a deep house on the Twijnstraat, with the roof truss perpendicular to the street, and a transverse rear house that extends behind the left side wall.
The front house is two storeys high with a roof truss. The cornice-topped facade is two bays wide and has low windows for the attic storey. The shop front has a central display window with a door on each side (the left leading to the residential upper storey) between four pilasters with composite capitals.
The building has a medieval cellar parallel to the street with trough vaults on two transverse arches, behind which (not accessible) a cellar that has a barrel vault parallel to the street which interlocks with the perpendicular barrel vault in Twijnstraat 12 (currently the cellars are separated). The cellars do not run through beneath the rear house.
The transverse rear house is a 17th century extension of two storeys behind Twijnstraat 12 and 14 with possibly originally a stone partition wall in the middle of the building.
The rear facade has arches with ashlar blocks above the windows and rich ornamental wall anchors.
The building is of architectural importance.
