In opzet groot zeventiende-eeuws HUIS, daterend uit de jaren direct na de aanleg van de Ridderschapstraat, in 1663 - 1664, bestaande uit twee bouwlagen met kap loodrecht op de straat en een kelder met kruisgewelven.
Het zeventiende-eeuwse huis is deels gaaf bewaard; het casco en de kap.
De balklagen van beganegrond en verdieping zijn naar alle waarschijnlijkheid nog aanwezig. Het huis is vergelijkbaar met de panden Ridderschapstraat 10 en 12. De voordeur heeft een fraaie achttiende-eeuwse omlijsting.
Het pand is van architectonisch belang.

Description
A large seventeenth-century HOUSE in layout, dating from the years immediately after the laying out of Ridderschapstraat, in 1663 - 1664, consisting of two storeys with roof perpendicular to the street and a cellar with cross vaults.
The seventeenth-century house is partly well preserved; the shell and the roof.
The beam layers of ground floor and upper floor are in all probability still present. The house is comparable with the properties Ridderschapstraat 10 and 12. The front door has a fine eighteenth-century surround.
The property is of architectural importance.
