Een 18e eeuwse boerderij van het 'hallehuis'-type van een bouwlaag en een kap, opgedeeld in drie woonhuizen.
Hoewel de voorgevel door de opdeling in drie afzonderlijke woningen niet meer de oorspronkelijke opzet kent, kan hier gesproken worden van een gaaf voorbeeld. De constructie is nog volledig intact en bestaat uit een aantal ankerbalkgebinten met pennen en wiggen waardoor de ruimte in drie beuken wordt verdeeld.
De verdeling in drie woningen is volgens het oorspronkelijke patroon gebeurd, de twee zijhuizen bevinden zich in de voorste drie vakken van de zijbeuken. Het middelste huis bestaat aan de voorzijde uit de middenbeuk, terwijl in de laatste vakken drie beuken worden benut. De achtergevel is nog volledig in tact, waarbij met name de achterbaander opvalt.
Ook de zijgevels hebben voor een belangrijk deel de oorspronkelijke indeling. Achter de boerderij is nog een 19e eeuwse grote wagenschuur aanwezig.
Deze boerderij is van groot belang door de vrijwel oorspronkelijke toestand. Bovendien is zij van groot historisch belang door haar ligging, net buiten de stadsmuren in de voorstad Tolsteeg.

Description
An 18th century farmhouse of the 'hall-house' type of one storey and a roof, divided into three dwelling houses.

The structure is still completely intact and consists of a number of tie-beam framework sections with pins and wedges by which the space is divided into three aisles.
The division into three dwellings took place according to the original pattern, the two side houses are located in the front three bays of the side aisles. The middle house at the front consists of the central aisle, while in the last bays three aisles are used. The rear facade is still completely intact, with the rear band-board particularly standing out.
The side facades likewise have for an important part the original layout. Behind the farmhouse is still a 19th century large wagon shed.
This farmhouse is of great importance due to its virtually original condition. Moreover, it is of great historical importance because of its location, just outside the city walls in the suburb of Tolsteeg.
