Omschrijving
In oorsprong tweelaags middeleeuws huis, thans bestaande uit drie bouwlagen met kelder en een kap loodrecht op de straat. Bij de verbreding van de Haverstraat in 1644 werd het huis aan de voorzijde ingekort en aan de achterzijde uitgebreid. Belangrijke delen van het middeleeuwse huis met eiken moer en kinderbalklagen met gotische sleutelstukken zijn bewaard gebleven.
Van de zeventiende- en achttiende eeuwse verbouwingen dateren diverse bouwdelen, waaronder een merkwaardige insteek verdieping op de beganegrond met een trap, kasten en dergelijke en een negentiende- begin twintigste eeuwse schouw op de verdieping. Rond het midden van de negentiende eeuw werd het huis met een tweede verdieping verhoogd en voorzien van een nieuwe voorgevel met Dorische pilasters in de trant van Zocher, vergelijkbaar met de bebouwing aan de Van Asch van Wijckskade.

Description
Originally a two-storey medieval house, now consisting of three storeys with cellar and a roof truss structure perpendicular to the street. When the Haverstraat was widened in 1644 the house was shortened at the front and extended at the rear. Important parts of the medieval house with oak wall plate and beam layers with gothic keystones have been preserved.
From the seventeenth and eighteenth century alterations date various building components, including a remarkable inserted storey at ground level with a staircase, cupboards and the like and a nineteenth to early twentieth century chimney on the upper floor. Around the middle of the nineteenth century the house was raised with a second storey and given a new front facade with Doric pilasters in the manner of Zocher, comparable with the buildings on the Van Asch van Wijckskade.
The building is of constructional, architectural and historical importance.
