Inleiding
WINKELWOONHUIS, in 1897 naar ontwerp van architect W.J. van Vogelpoel gebouwd in eclectische stijl opgetrokken met neo-renaissance elementen.
Omschrijving
Overhoeks afgeschuind, smal en diep als winkelwoonhuis gebouwd hoekpand van vier bouwlagen onder afgeplat schilddak, gedekt met shingles en met oudere straat- en werfkelders. In baksteen, kunststeen en pleister uitgevoerde gevel met twee traveeën aan Oudegrachtzijde en vier traveeën aan Haverstraatzijde en met afgeschuinde hoektravee waarin op de verdiepingen een op consoles rustend balkon. Eerste bouwlaag met vernieuwde winkelpui in baksteen, pleister en kunststeen omlijsting. Tweede, derde en vierde bouwlaag aan beide straatzijden met diepliggende vensters met Franse balkons en zware omgezette pleisterbanden. Gevelbeëindiging met brede gepleisterde band met opgelegde vlakken en zware consoles onder kroonlijst, met op afgeschuinde hoek een fronton met een onderbroken hoofdgestel. In het frontonveld een medaillon met jaartal 1897.
Dakkapellen, aan Oudegrachtzijde één en aan Haverstraat vier, met geprofileerde lijsten en bekroond met bol.

Description
Corner building with chamfered corners, narrow and deep built as a shop-house with four storeys under a hipped roof, covered with shingles and with older street and yard cellars. Facade executed in brick, artificial stone and plaster with two bays on the Oudegracht side and four bays on the Haverstraat side and with chamfered corner bay in which on the floors a balcony resting on consoles. First storey with renewed shopfront in brick, plaster and artificial stone frame. Second, third and fourth storeys on both street sides with recessed windows with French balconies and heavy coursed plaster bands. Gable termination with broad plastered band with applied panels and heavy consoles under cornice, with on the chamfered corner a pediment with a broken entablature. In the pediment field a medallion with the year 1897.
Roof dormers, one on the Oudegracht side and four on the Haverstraat side, with profiled mouldings and crowned with a ball.
