Omschrijving
Pand van middeleeuwse oorsprong, bestaande uit vier bouwlagen met de kap evenwijdig aan de straat en verschillende kelders, waarvan een met tongewelf.
Het huidige huis staat ter plaatse van waarschijnlijk twee middeleeuwse huizen, die in de 17e eeuw zijn samengevoegd.
Bij de verbreding van de Haverstraat in 1644 kon dit huis niet naar achteren toe worden uitgebreid in verband met de grens van de huizen aan de Oudegracht. Zo is een relatief breed en ondiep huis ontstaan. De 17e eeuwse situatie is in grote lijnen gaaf bewaard. De spiltrap over alle verdiepingen is nog aanwezig evenals de moer en kinderbalklagen op de verdiepingen. Voorts heeft het huis nog een deel van de middeleeuwse kelders die nu tot onder de straat liggen.
De voorgevel met uitzondering van de onderpui, heeft nu een deels 18e- deels 19e eeuws karakter.
Het pand is van bouwhistorisch en historisch belang.

Description
Building of medieval origin, consisting of four storeys with the roof truss structure parallel to the street and various cellars, one of which with a barrel vault.
The present house stands in place of probably two medieval houses, which were combined in the 17th century.
When the Haverstraat was widened in 1644 this house could not be extended backwards due to the boundary of the houses on the Oudegracht. Thus a relatively wide and shallow house came into being. The 17th century situation has been largely preserved intact. The spiral staircase over all floors is still present as are the wall plate and beam layers on the floors. Furthermore, the house still has part of the medieval cellars which now lie beneath the street.
The front facade, with the exception of the shop front, now has partly 18th and partly 19th century character.
The building is of constructional and historical importance.
