Een voor het eerst in 1319 vermeld pand, tegenwoordig bestaande uit vier bouwlagen.
Het pand behoord van oorsprong tot het type "weergangshuis", dat buiten dit pand alleen langs de Oudegracht voorkomt. In een Charter van 1319 wordt de ligging aan de Oudegracht genoemd, hetgeen kan samenhangen met een restant rivierloop ter plaatse van de Ganzenmarkt.
Hoewel het karakter tegenwoordig wordt bepaald door de vroeg 19e eeuwse voorgevel met lijst en recente onderpui, waarmee het pand gekoppeld wordt met Ganzenmarkt 26, is er van de waarschijnlijk 13e eeuwse opzet nog veel aanwezig in muurwerk en balklagen.
Op de derde verdieping (in 1917 is de kap vervangen door een plat dak) is nog de aanzet van de weergang aanwezig, met de helft van de borstwering. Eveneens in 1917 is een deel van de eiken balklagen vervangen, waarbij in circa 1530 beschilderde balkdelen met rijmpjes, acanthus ranken, figuren te paard en vogels tevoorschijn kwamen. Deze zijn nog aanwezig in het Centraal museum te Utrecht.
De achtergevel heeft een nogal ongewone indeling hoewel de plaatsing van de kozijnen wel oorspronkelijk is.
Het pand is zowel historisch als bouwhistorisch van belang als een van de weinige buiten de Oudegracht voorkomende "Oudegracht-huizen".

Description
A building first mentioned in 1319, nowadays consisting of four storeys.
The building originally belonged to the type "weergangshuis", which outside this building only occurs along the Oudegracht. In a Charter of 1319 the location on the Oudegracht is mentioned, which may be connected with a remnant of river course at the location of the Ganzenmarkt.
Although the character is nowadays determined by the early 19th-century front facade with cornice and recent shop front, linking it with Ganzenmarkt 26, much of the probably 13th-century conception is still present in the masonry and floor beams.
On the third floor (in 1917 the roof was replaced by a flat roof) the beginning of the weergang is still present, with half of the parapet. Also in 1917, part of the oak floor beams were replaced, when painted beam sections from circa 1530 with rhyming couplets, acanthus scrolls, figures on horseback and birds came to light. These are still present in the Centraal Museum in Utrecht.
The rear facade has a rather unusual layout although the placement of the window frames is original.
The building is both historically and building historically significant as one of the few "Oudegracht-houses" occurring outside the Oudegracht.
