Omschrijving
Zeventiende eeuws pand bestaande uit een voorhuis dat een deel van een van oorsprong middeleeuws dwarshuis is en een ouder achterhuis. Het pand met een gepleisterde lijstgevel van drie vensters breed bevat drie bouwlagen met zadeldak evenwijdig aan de straat en heeft drie kelders.
Het voorhuis vormt van oorsprong samen met het linker buurpand een middeleeuws dwarshuis van vijf vakken breed, waarvan er drie tot dit pand behoren. De gepleisterde lijstgevel heeft drie bouwlagen.
Van de drie kelders met tongewelven loodrecht op de rooilijn die dit voorhuis bevat, behoren er twee tot Schoutenstraat 4, evenals een gedeelte onder de straat met een half tongewelf evenwijdig aan de rooilijn.

Description
Seventeenth century building consisting of a front house that is part of an originally medieval transverse house and an older rear building. The building with a plastered cornice-topped facade of three windows wide contains three storeys with gabled roof parallel to the street and has three cellars.
The front house originally forms together with the left adjoining building a medieval transverse house of five bays wide, of which three belong to this building. The plastered cornice-topped facade has three storeys.
Of the three cellars with barrel vaults perpendicular to the building line that this front house contains, two belong to Schoutenstraat 4, as does a part beneath the street with a half barrel vault parallel to the building line.
The rear building runs through behind the shallow adjoining building and stands on a cellar with barrel vault parallel to the street.
The entire building is of architectural historical importance and determining for the historic street character.
