Omschrijving
Een in zijn huidige vorm 17e eeuws HUIS van middeleeuwse oorsprong, bestaande uit twee bouwlagen, een kelder en een schilddak.
In opzet vormde dit huis vanaf straatniveau een eenlaags pand, op werfniveau was het een tweelaags huis. Het was gelegen direct achter de Tolsteegpoort. In de 17e eeuw is het met een verdieping verhoogd. De kelder en de beganegrond zijn in wezen nog middeleeuws.
Het uiterlijk wordt gevormd door twee gepleisterde gevels met 19e eeuwse schuifvensters. Aan de voorzijde is een 20e eeuwse houten uitbouw.
Het pand is van groot historisch belang vanwege de ligging op de werf van de Oudegracht, direkt achter de stadspoort.

Description
A house of medieval origin, in its present form 17th century, consisting of two storeys, a cellar and a hipped roof.
In its original layout this house formed a single-storey property from street level, at yard level it was a two-storey house. It was located directly behind the Tolsteegpoort. In the 17th century it was raised with an additional storey. The cellar and ground floor are essentially still medieval.
Its appearance is formed by two plastered facades with 19th century sash windows. At the front is a 20th century wooden extension.
The property is of great historical importance because of its location on the yard of the Oudegracht, directly behind the city gate.
