Omschrijving
1. Ten dele onderkelderd, in oorsprong 17e-eeuws pand met twee bouwlagen onder rood pannen schilddak dat boven de tot lijstgevel verbouwde oorspronkelijk trapgevel is afgewolfd. De voorgevel bevat zowel links als in het midden deuren, rechts de van luiken voorziene kelder-ingang en twee 16-ruits-vensters; de houten pui wordt afgesloten door een in 1907 als reconstructie aangebrachte luifel, waarboven een zestal vensters met roedenverdeling tussen gebeeldhouwde consoles die de rijk gesneden puibalk dragen; op de verdieping drie T-vensters en op de kapverdieping twee T-vensters, voorts diverse muurankers. Zowel op de luifel als op de puibalk is het opschrift "Ao. 1606 tapperij "de Luifel"" aangebracht.
Aan de achterzijde een gedeeltelijk gewijzigde lijstgevel.
Inwendig resteren van de oorspronkelijke constructie de tongewelfde kelder, de insteek en een enkelvoudige balklaag.
Diep pand met voor de verschillende bouwperioden kenmerkende bouwhistorische details en als zodanig van architectuur- en bouwhistorisch belang.
2. In oorsprong uit de 13e eeuw daterend torenvormig huis, doch in huidig aanzien vooral door de 17e-eeuwse verbouwing tot graanpakhuis bepaald pand, bestaande uit vier bouwlagen onder pannen zadeldak met schild aan de achterzijde.
De van vlechtingen en vlieringvenster voorziene tuitgevel aan de voorzijde heeft verder per bouwlaag twee vensters - evenals de linkerzijgevel - en rechts de ingang.
De rechterzijgevel is geheel blind, terwijl de achtergevel bouwsporen van dichtgezette doorgangen naar een verdwenen bescheidener aanbouw bevat.
Van de inwendige constructie resteren de bouwsporen van de oorspronkelijke opzet met een enkelvoudige balklaag op de beganegrond en samengestelde balklagen met korbelen en muurstijlen op de verdiepingen.
Torenvormig pand van middeleeuwse oorsprong met diverse bouwhistorische details, als representant van de Utrechtse woontorens van architectuur- , cultuur- en bouwhistorisch belang.

Description
1. Partly cellared, originally a 17th-century building with two storeys under red tiled hipped roof which is arched above the originally stepped gable converted to a cornice-topped facade. The front facade contains doors both on the left and in the centre, on the right the cellar entrance provided with shutters and two 16-pane windows; the wooden shopfront is closed off by an awning applied in 1907 as a reconstruction, above which a half-dozen windows with glazing bars between sculptured consoles which support the richly carved shopfront beam; on the upper storey three T-windows and on the roof storey two T-windows, furthermore various wall anchors. Both on the awning and on the shopfront beam is the inscription "Ao. 1606 tapestry "de Luifel"" applied.
On the rear side a partly modified cornice-topped facade.
Internally, of the original construction remain the barrel-vaulted cellar, the recess and a simple beam layer.
