Laat 18e eeuwse houtloods met twee tussenvloeren.
Bedrijvigheid buiten de stad Utrecht was ondermeer te vinden langs de Vecht en de Lauwerecht. De bedrijvigheid bestond bijvoorbeeld uit pannenbakkers, pijpenmakers en houtopslag.
De houtloods is gelegen tussen de Vecht en de Lauwerecht. De loods bestond uit een stenen onderbouw met brede toegangsdeuren en een houten bovenbouw met luiken en ventilatieroosters. Voorgevel en draagconstructie zijn nog gaaf aanwezig, de achtergevel werd in het begin van de 20e eeuw geheel door een stenen gevel vervangen.
De houtloods is van bouwhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de zeldzaam wordende 18e eeuwse houtopslagplaatsen, en historisch van belang in de stedelijke ontwikkeling buiten de stadsmuur.

Late 18th century timber store with two intermediate floors.
Business activity outside the city of Utrecht was found for example along the Vecht and the Lauwerecht. The business activity consisted for example of tile makers, pipe makers and timber storage.
The timber store is located between the Vecht and the Lauwerecht. The store consisted of a stone base with wide access doors and a timber superstructure with shutters and ventilation grilles. Front facade and load-bearing construction are still intact, the back facade was entirely replaced by a stone facade in the early 20th century.
The timber store is of architectural historical importance as an example of the increasingly rare 18th century timber storage facilities, and is historically important in urban development outside the city wall.
