Omschrijving
VOORMALIGE ZAAGMOLEN.
Voormalige zaagmolen bestaande uit een in twee delen gelede woning onder met grijze pannen gedekt zadeldak. De zuidelijke helft van de deels in baksteen en deels in mergelsteen opgetrokken woning dateert uit ca 1700. Waarschijnlijk werd in de 18e of wellicht 19e eeuw de noordelijke helft, waarvan het volume ongeveer identiek is aan het zuidelijke gedeelte, aangebouwd.
Zuidelijke helft voor(oost-)gevel: in vier traveeën gelede gevelpartij met aan de linkerzijde de eenvoudige rechthoekige toegangsdeur met erboven een oculus met 4-ruitsvenster. Rechts van de ingangsdeur drie hardstenen tweelichtskozijnen met (per kozijn) een 4-ruitsvenster. De vensters zijn van diefijzers voorzien. Aan de onderste vensters zijn tevens luiken met geschilderd zandloper motief in rood tegen een geel fond aangebracht. Op de eerste verdieping drie 4-ruitsvensters.
Linker zijgevel: beganegronds links een 6-ruitsvenster met diefijzer. In de topgevel vier kleine rechthoekige kozijnen, geplaatst in een groep van drie met een erboven in het centrum, die van oorsprong waarschijnlijk als ventilatie- en lichtopeningen dienst deden.
Achtergevel: in vier traveeen gelede gevelpartij met beganegronds rechts een eenvoudige rechthoekige deur met erboven een oculus met 4-ruitsvenster. Links drie hardstenen tweelichtkozijnen met (per kozijn) 4-ruitsvensters, die van diefijzers zijn voorzien. Rechts van de deur een hardstenen kijkspleet met in het hart een kanonsgat. Op de eerste verdieping vier 4-ruitsvensters.
Vensters en deuren van deze zuidelijke helft van de woning zijn van een omlijsting in hardsteen voorzien.
Noordelijke helft voor(oost-)gevel: centraal een aanbouw onder met grijze pannen gedekt, haaks op de gevel staand zadeldak. Deze aanbouw, het zogenaamde turbinehuis, dateert waarschijnlijk uit 1890, toen het waterrad door een turbine werd vervangen. Aan de voor(oost-)zijde van deze aanbouw een getoogde dubbele deur. In de rechtergevel een getoogd 4-ruitsvenster. Eronder, op kelder-niveau, een bouwspoor van een getoogd venster. Ter weerszijden van de aanbouw een getoogd venster met 6-ruitsindeling. Op de eerste verdieping drie getoogde 6-ruitsvensters.
Rechter zijgevel: beganegronds 3 getoogde 6-ruitsvensters. Op de eerste verdieping twee getoogde 4-ruitsvensters.
Achtergevel: aan de rechter zijde een deur en erboven op de eerste verdieping een getoogd 6-ruitsvenster.

Description
FORMER SAW MILL.
Former saw mill consisting of a dwelling divided into two parts under a gabled roof covered with grey tiles. The southern half of the dwelling, constructed partly in brick and partly in marl stone, dates from approximately 1700. Probably in the 18th or possibly 19th century the northern half, of which the volume is approximately identical to the southern section, was added.
Southern half front (east) facade: a facade section divided into four bays with on the left side the simple rectangular entrance door with above it an oculus with a 4-light window. To the right of the entrance door three stone two-light cross windows with (per window) a 4-light window. The windows are provided with iron guards. To the lower windows likewise shutters with a painted hourglass motif in red against a yellow background have been applied. On the first storey three 4-light windows.
Left side facade: on the ground floor to the left a 6-light window with iron guard. In the gable four small rectangular windows, placed in a group of three with one above in the centre, which originally probably served as ventilation and light openings.
Rear facade: a facade section divided into four bays with on the ground floor to the right a simple rectangular door with above it an oculus with a 4-light window. To the left three stone two-light cross windows with (per window) 4-light windows, which are provided with iron guards. To the right of the door a stone loophole with a cannon ball hole at its heart. On the first storey four 4-light windows.
Windows and doors of this southern half of the dwelling are provided with a stone surround.
Northern half front (east) facade: centrally an addition under a gabled roof covered with grey tiles, set at right angles to the facade. This addition, the so-called turbine house, probably dates from 1890, when the waterwheel was replaced by a turbine. On the front (east) side of this addition an arched double door. In the right facade an arched 4-light window. Beneath it, at cellar level, a building trace of an arched window. On either side of the addition an arched window with 6-light glazing. On the first storey three arched 6-light windows.
Right side facade: on the ground floor 3 arched 6-light windows. On the first storey two arched 4-light windows.
Rear facade: on the right side a door and above it on the first storey an arched 6-light window.
