Omschrijving
Westzijderkerk. Kruiskerk, gebouw van 1638-'40, en in 1672 en 1680, resp. in westwaartse en oostwaartse richting verlengd. Sierlijk houten torentje in gotische trant op de kruising. Gevels met bekronende frontons en een geleding die doet denken aan de trant van Vingboons. Oostelijke portaalaanbouw, 1680; westelijke 1711. Zerkenvloer. Twee gebrandschilderde glazen, 1682 en 1725. Schildering, 1737, voorstellend "de Stiers Wreedheid". Preekstoel, doophek, twee herenbanken en kerkbanken, XVII. Herenbank, 1712. In een orgelkas van J. Duyschot plaatste Flentrop Orgelbouw in 1976 een nieuw instrument met gebruikmaking van enig oud pijpwerk. Alleen de orgelkas en de oude pijpen vallen binnen de bescherming. Tiengebodenbord, 1656. Bord met namen der predikanten, 1778. Klokkenstoel met klok van A. Koster, 1640, diam. 78 cm.

Description
West Side Church. Cruciform church, building of 1638-40, and in 1672 and 1680, respectively extended in westward and eastward directions. Elegant wooden turret in Gothic manner at the crossing. Facades with crowning pediments and articulation reminiscent of the manner of Vingboons. Eastern portal addition, 1680; western 1711. Floor with gravestones. Two stained-glass windows, 1682 and 1725. Painting, 1737, depicting "the Bull's Cruelty". Pulpit, baptismal enclosure, two gentleman's pews and church pews, 17th century. Gentleman's pew, 1712. In an organ case by J. Duyschot, Flentrop Orgelbouw placed in 1976 a new instrument using some old pipework. Only the organ case and the old pipes fall within the protection. Board of the Ten Commandments, 1656. Board with names of ministers, 1778. Bell frame with bell by A. Koster, 1640, diameter 78 cm.
