Wachthuis bij de Waterpoort. Rechthoekig bakstenen gebouw met ingebouwde galerij, bestaande uit bogen op pijlers met hardstenen imposten. Tweede helft 18e eeuw. In de zijmuur stenen ingemetseld ter herinnering aan hoge waterstanden: 4 november 1775 en 5 januari 1808, voorts 1894, 1916 en 1952.

Description
Guard house at the Waterpoort. Rectangular brick building with built-in gallery, consisting of arches on pillars with sandstone imposts. Second half of the 18th century. In the side wall stones built in as a reminder of high water levels: 4 November 1775 and 5 January 1808, furthermore 1894, 1916 and 1952.
