Omschrijving
Voormalige R.K. Kerk van St. Willibrord, thans herdenkingskapel voor de gevallenen van Noord-Brabant. Gerestaureerd in 1940, toen dwarspand en koor uit 1854 werden afgebroken en de grondslagen van een rechthoekig koor uit 1425 tot geringe hoogte hersteld werden. De kerk bestaat thans uit een romaans tufstenen schip uit de 12e eeuw, met een na 1469 tot stand gekomen westelijke uitbreiding van een hogere travee van baksteen met lagen van tufsteen, en een bakstenen toren met overhoekse, rijk gedetailleerde steunberen en een van vier tot achtkant ingesnoerde spits. Mechanisch smeedijzerentorenuurwerk, 16de á 17de eeuw, elektrische opwinding. Trommelspeelwerk van Firma de Klok, 1950, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Former R.C. Church of St. Willibrord, now a memorial chapel for those fallen in North Brabant. Restored in 1940, when the transept and choir from 1854 were demolished and the foundations of a rectangular choir from 1425 were restored to slight height. The church now consists of a Romanesque tuff-stone nave from the 12th century, with a western extension created after 1469 of a higher bay of brick with layers of tuff, and a brick tower with chamfered, richly detailed buttresses and a spire that tapers from four to octagonal. Mechanical wrought-iron tower clock, 16th to 17th century, electric winding. Barrel-playing mechanism by Firma de Klok, 1950, has been put out of service.
