St.Petrus'Stoel van Antiochie. Gewijd 1890 Ch. Weber. Driebeukige kruisbasiliek in neo-romano-gotische trant met achthoekige kruising, waarop een hoge koepeltoren. Slanke achthoekige torens ter weerszijden van de voorgevel en apsiden tegen koor en de sluitgevels van het transept. Alleen de koorapsis heeft een omgang.
Een tweeklaviers orgel met vrij pedaal en pneumatische tractuur gemaakt door T. Nöhren in 1906. In 1970 door de firma Verschueren voorzien van een electrische tractuur die niet onder de bescherming valt.
Het voornamelijk in rode baksteen uitgevoerde interieur heeft een alternerend stelsel van pijlers en zuilen, zesdelige gewelven over schip en transept en een stergewelf over het koor. Description
St. Peter's Chair of Antioch. Consecrated 1890 Ch. Weber. Three-aisle cruciform basilica in neo-Romanogothic style with octagonal crossing, on which an octagonal domed tower. Slender octagonal towers on either side of the front facade and apses against choir and closing gables of the transept. Only the choir apse has an ambulatory.
A two-manual organ with independent pedal and pneumatic action made by T. Nöhren in 1906. In 1970 the firm Verschueren provided it with an electric action which does not fall under protection.
The interior, executed mainly in red brick, has an alternating system of pillars and columns, six-part vaults over nave and transept and a star vault above the choir. Finely detailed sculpture on the capitals. Altar ciborium from the time of construction; dome painting by Jan Oosterman. Main entryway from the second period of Weber. Bell frame with bell by Petit and Fritsen, 1890, diameter 163 cm.
