Complex genaamd "de Refter". Voormalig pensionaatsgebouw en kapel van het door Franse zusters geleide instituut "Notre Dame des Anges", gebouwd in 1910 door architect J.H. (Jean) van Groenendael, ter plekke van een steile heuvelflank in de voormalige boventuin van het Huis Ubbergen. Neogotische kapel opgetrokken in rode baksteen met toepassing van gele voor decoratie en natuursteen voor lijstwerk, afdekplaten, pinakels, traceringen, balustrades etc. Eenbeukig schip van zes traveeën overkluisd door bakstenen gewelven en bekroond door een hoge achtzijdige centraal geplaatste klokkentoren. Aansluitend lager priesterkoor van twee traveeën met driezijdige sluiting, aan de noord- en zuidzijde geflankeerd door zijruimten met een verdieping en traptoren op de buitenhoeken. Pensionaatsgebouw, uitgevoerd in hetzelfde materiaal als de kapel. Het gebouw bestaat in zijn hoofdmassa uit een tegen de kapel aansluitend winkelhaakvormig blok van vijf bouwlagen en een kapverdieping met enkele en dubbele rijen dakkapellen. Twee traptorens over de volle hoogte van de beide vleugels gesitueerd op de korte gevels aan de zuidwestkant en de noordoostzijde. In de drie hoofdetages zijn kruisvensters met ontlastingsbogen aangebracht, in de uit twee lagen bestaande onderbouw vensters van kleinere omgang. Neogotische toegangsportaal tot het complex tussen de kapel en de villa "Ter Meer" (apart monumentnummer 35790). Inwendig fraai trappenhuis.

Neo-Gothic chapel erected in red brick with the use of yellow for decoration and natural stone for mouldings, coping stones, pinnacles, tracery, balustrades etc. Single-aisle nave of six bays covered by brick vaults and crowned by a tall octagonal centrally placed bell tower. Adjoining lower priest's choir of two bays with a three-sided closure, flanked on the north and south sides by side spaces with an upper storey and stair towers on the outer corners. Boarding school building, executed in the same material as the chapel. The building consists in its main mass of a block adjoining the chapel in an L-shaped plan of five storeys and a half storey with single and double rows of dormers. Two stair towers over the full height of both wings situated on the short facades on the south-west side and the north-east side. In the three main storeys cross windows with relieving arches have been inserted, in the basement consisting of two storeys windows of smaller dimensions.
