Omschrijving
Herv. kerk en toren, gelegen op een kerkhof. Met uitzondering van de 19e eeuwse koorsluiting zijn schip en toren nog romaans; beide zijn uit baksteen opgetrokken. Aan de noordzijde van het schip moeten van romaanse vensters. In de kerk 17e eeuwse preekstoelkuip en klankbord; doopbekken op voet; 17e eeuwse overhuifde herenbank en een aantal zeer eenvoudige banken met bewerkte wangen. Zandstenen epitaaf omstreeks 1640. Vier rouwkassen, waarvan twee 18e eeuws en een ruitvormig rouwbord. In de toren zes grote gebeeldhouwde zerken, 16e en vroeg 17e eeuws, waaronder één door Vincent Lucas. Orgel in 1871 gemaakt door P. van Oeckelen. Klokkenstoel met klok van Herman(nus?), 1493, diam. 112,3 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk D. Wielinga, Franeker, 1930, gerestaureerd in 1975.

Description
Reformed church and tower, situated on a churchyard. With the exception of the 19th-century choir closure, nave and tower are still Romanesque; both are constructed from brick. On the north side of the nave there must be Romanesque windows. In the church 17th-century pulpit tub and sounding board; baptismal font on pedestal; 17th-century canopied gentlemen's pew and a number of very simple pews with worked cheeks. Sandstone epitaph around 1640. Four mourning chests, of which two 18th-century and one diamond-shaped mourning board. In the tower six large carved grave stones, 16th and early 17th century, including one by Vincent Lucas. Organ made in 1871 by P. van Oeckelen. Bell frame with bell by Herman(nus?), 1493, diam. 112.3 cm. Mechanical tower clock D. Wielinga, Franeker, 1930, restored in 1975.
