Omschrijving
GASHOUDER. De ronde gashouder - geheel westelijk op het terrein - is opgetrokken op een bakstenen onderbouw met vierentwintig getoogde spaarvelden, waarin om en om rondboogvensters met roedenverdeling zijn aangebracht tussen de verzwaarde pijlers; de ingang is voorzien van een ijzeren hek en een sluitsteen met eigentijds mascaron en een topstuk met het opschrift ANNO 1902; de bovenbouw is samengesteld uit geklonken ijzeren platen en bevat een uitkraging met hek aan de bovenzijde; aan de zuidoostzijde zijn twee rondafgesloten ketelhuisjes onder schilddaken aangebouwd.
De inwendige ruimte wordt overspannen door een grote, als een parapluie uitgewerkte ijzeren spant- en balkconstructie.

Description
GAS HOLDER. The round gas holder - situated far to the west on the site - is erected on a brick substructure with twenty-four arched spandrels, in which round-arched windows with glazing bars are placed alternately between the reinforced pillars; the entrance is provided with an iron gate and a keystone with contemporary mascaron and a top piece with the inscription ANNO 1902; the superstructure is composed of riveted iron plates and contains a projection with railing at the top; on the south-east side two round-ended boiler houses under hipped roofs are attached.
The internal space is spanned by a large iron truss and beam construction worked out like a parasol.
