Omschrijving
Godshuis, in 1681-1700 door de architect Bertholet gebouwd als gouvernementshuis (Prinsenhof). Aan de zijde van het voorplein vooruitspringende zijgedeelten en een uitgebouwd torentje; op het midden van de pleingevel een fronton met 1681 en het wapen van Gelderland; houten kruisvensters in hardstenen omramingen; thans aan de Pollartstraat een bordes met dubbele trap, voorzien van een hardstenen leuning met balusters en bolvormige bekroningen. Aan de zijde van het Munsterplein tevens het voormalige koetshuis. In het hoofdgebouw o.a. een eiken hoofdtrap, een zaal met moerbalkzoldering en een zwartmarmeren schouw met zware consolepilasters; twee schouwen op marmeren zuilen - een met gesneden bovenbekleding-; een rechtomlijste schouw en een thans ingebouwde; twee stel dubbele deuren met gesneden bovenbetimmeringen, reeks geschilderde portretten en andere schilderijen, XVI-XVIII.

Description
God's house, built in 1681-1700 by the architect Bertholet as a government house (Prinsenhof). On the side of the forecourt projecting side sections and an extended small tower; on the centre of the forecourt facade a pediment with 1681 and the coat of arms of Gelderland; wooden cross windows in stone surrounds; now on Pollartstraat a landing with double staircase, provided with a stone balustrade with balusters and spherical finials. On the side of Munsterplein also the former coach house. In the main building including: an oak main staircase, a hall with crown-post ceiling and a black marble chimney breast with heavy corbel pilasters; two chimney breasts on marble columns - one with carved upper panelling -; a rectangular-framed chimney breast and one now built in; two sets of double doors with carved upper panelling, series of painted portraits and other paintings, 16th-18th century.
