Omschrijving
St. Bavo, geconsacreerd 1889, Ch. Weber. Kruisbasiliek in romano-gotische trant met klaverbladvormige oostpartij, waarbij zowel de eindgevels van het transept als het koor een apsis met omgang hebben. Koepeltoren op pendentiefs boven de achthoekige kruising, westtorens onvoltooid. Het in verscheidene kleuren baksteen uitgevoerde interieur heeft een alternerend stelsel van pijlers en zuilen. Koepelgewelven over het schip. In de toren is het oude mechanische torenuurwerk, in complete staat, nog aanwezig, 1894, buiten gebruik gesteld. Orgel in 1930 vervaardigd door B. Pels & Zonen met twee manualen en pedaal.

Description
St. Bavo, consecrated 1889, Ch. Weber. Cruciform basilica in Romanesque-Gothic style with clover-leaf-shaped eastern section, whereby both the end facades of the transept and the choir have an apse with ambulatory. Dome tower on pendentives above the octagonal crossing, west towers incomplete. The interior executed in various colours of brick has an alternating system of piers and columns. Barrel vaults over the nave. In the tower the old mechanical tower clock, in complete condition, is still present, 1894, put out of use. Organ made in 1930 by B. Pels & Sons with two manuals and pedal.
