Omschrijving
Gedenkteken voor de schilder Jacob Jordaens, in Putte begraven. Opgericht in 1877, met bronzen borstbeeld en in het voetstuk ingemetselde grafzerk. In de zijkanten van het voetstuk de grafzerken van Adriaan van Stalbemt (plm 1662) en van Guilliam de Pape (plm 1674) met erboven hun portretmedaillons. De drie zerken afkomstig uit de voormalige N.H. Kerk van Putte.

Description
Memorial to the painter Jacob Jordaens, buried in Putte. Erected in 1877, with a bronze bust and a gravestone set into the pedestal. On the sides of the pedestal the gravestones of Adriaan van Stalbemt (c. 1662) and of Guilliam de Pape (c. 1674) with portrait medallions above them. The three stones originating from the former Protestant Church of Putte.
