Ingevolge Koninklijk Besluit van 9 augustus 1972 nummer 39 betreft bescherming het tot het Carmelitessenklooster Blijendaal behorende, vermoedelijk in oorsprong uit de 17e eeuw daterende HUIS, bestaande uit een oost-westvleugel, afgedekt door een zadeldak en aan de voorzijde voorzien van een topgevel met vlechtingen, waarin ramen met kleine roedenverdeling, voorts een met een zadeldak afgedekte zuidvleugel, voor zover gelegen tussen de Nieuwstraat en de oostzijde van een binnenplaats en een met een klein zadeldak met schild afgedekte noordvleugel, welke eveneens is gelegen tussen de Nieuwstraat en een binnenplaats.

Description
Pursuant to Royal Decree of 9 August 1972 number 39 the protection concerns the HOUSE belonging to the Carmelite convent Blijendaal, presumed to be originally from the 17th century, consisting of an east-west wing, covered by a gabled roof and provided on the front side with a top gable with brick diaper pattern, in which windows with small glazing bar division, furthermore a south wing covered with a gabled roof, insofar as situated between the Nieuwstraat and the east side of an inner courtyard and a north wing covered with a small gabled roof with hipped section, which is likewise situated between the Nieuwstraat and an inner courtyard.
