Omschrijving
Kleine plaats; evenals de Kloostergang en de Kapittelzaal in de tijd van de Republiek ingericht geweest als Munt van Zeeland. Aan het Koorkerkhof doorgang met halve rondboog en architraaf op korinthische kolommen. In de zwikvullingen wapens van Zeeland en Middelburg, in het fries opschrift: "Munte van Zelandt", en in de aangrenzende muurvlakken gebeeldhouwde cartouches met latijnse opschriften: "Nervus Belli Pecunia" en "Auri niservire Nephas". Aan de plaats bijgebouwen in stijl van vierde kwart zestiende eeuw, grotendeels daterend van de restauratie ongeveer 1900. Rechts een bakstenen gebouw met overhoeks geplaatste bakstenen vierkante middentoren, van drie geledingen, eveneens goeddeels vernieuwd.

Description
Small square; like the Cloister Walk and the Chapter House, during the time of the Republic fitted out as the Mint of Zeeland. On the Koorkerkhof passage with half round arch and architrave on Corinthian columns. In the spandrels arms of Zeeland and Middelburg, in the frieze inscription: "Munte van Zelandt", and in the adjoining wall surfaces sculptured cartouches with Latin inscriptions: "Nervus Belli Pecunia" and "Auri niservire Nephas". Adjoining the square are outbuildings in the style of the fourth quarter of the sixteenth century, largely dating from the restoration c. 1900. On the right a brick building with a brick square central tower placed at an angle, of three storeys, likewise largely renewed.
