Description

Originally perhaps 18th-century FARMHOUSE on T-shaped floor plan with 19th-century front house with upper chamber under tile hipped roof, the rear section under thatched saddle roof. The front house contains 6-pane sash windows and an encompassing cornice with dentil moulding, the front gable contains furthermore entrance with low stoop and double doors with cast-iron grille filling, double roof dormer with 4-pane sash windows, pilaster moulding and pediment with three corn ears. On the left side a flat-roofed chamber extension with 6-pane sash window and cornice; cowshed windows - partly altered - with theft irons and shutters; rear gable with three manure doors, in the middle a hay door, rod anchors and wattling in pointed gable. On the left side a 19th-century SUMMER HOUSE with three-sided front under tile saddle roof, 6-pane sash windows; entrance door with cast-iron grille filling in right-hand gable; arched cowshed windows; straight cornice, corniced on the front side. On the left side adjoining BONE-CLEANING SHED with semicircular cast-iron window. Behind it a HORSE STABLE, originally perhaps 18th-century, but largely 19th-century, under tile saddle roof. At right angles to this under mansard roof a 19th-century BARN. Wrought-iron ENTRANCE GATE with the name "Bouwlust", 19th-century. Characteristic farmhouse complex with outbuildings with characteristic 18th and 19th-century details.
