In de stadsuitleg naar ontwerp van Thomas Romein rond 1870 ontstaan twee bouwlagen tellend blokvormig pand op hardstenen plint, onder pannengedekt blokvormig afgeknot schilddak; in de door geblokte en verdiepte pilasters afgezette gevel getoogde ingang met bovenlicht en omlijsting met hoofdgestel, lichtgetoogde T-vensters met stuc-omlijsting met kuif; kroonlijst met goot op consoles.
Voor het huis eenvoudig smeedijzeren hek.

Arising in the urban development according to the design of Thomas Romein around 1870, a two-storey block-shaped building on a hard stone plinth, under a tile-covered hipped roof; in the facade marked off by blocked and recessed pilasters, a round-arched entrance with fanlight and framing with main architrave, round-arched T-windows with stucco framing with a curl; cornice with gutter on consoles.
In front of the house a simple wrought-iron gate.
