Omschrijving
Kloosterhoeve van de voormalige Augustijnerabdij Rolduc. Waarschijnlijk naar ontwerp van Jacob Couven (1753- 1812) gebouwd in 1792-1794. Gelegen ten zuiden van het voorplein van de abdij en bestaande uit drie vleugels van twee verdiepingen langs de oost-, zuid- en westzijde van een binnenplaats en een korte noordvleugel van drie verdiepingen haaks op de westvleugel. Op de noordwesthoek een voorpoort uit 1851.
Uitgezonderd de schuur in het midden van de zuidvleugel, die iets hoger is opgetrokken en voorzien is van een zadeldak, zijn de vleugels voorzien van schilddaken. Het geheel is opgetrokken in baksteen met toepassing van hardsteen voor de segmentboogomlijstingen van vensters en ingangen en zandsteen voor de poortomlijstingen. De gevel aan de binnenplaatszijde van genoemde schuur kreeg een extra monumentale detaillering en werd onder andere geleed met Dorische pilasters. In het interieur werden onderdelen toegepast van het vorige gebouw waarvoor de hoeve in de plaats kwam: het zuidelijke economiegebouw van abt Winandus Lamberti (1650-1664). In het woongedeelte een Dorische schouw met het in de tijd van herplaatsing op het wapenschild op de latei aangebrachte jaartal 1792. Verder onder meer een marmeren schouw en een deur met rijke omlijsting, beide XVIIB.
Kloosterhoeve van belang als onderdeel van het vrm. abdijcomplex en vanwege de grote architectuurhistorische waarde.

Description
Monastery farmhouse of the former Augustinian abbey Rolduc. Probably built to a design by Jacob Couven (1753-1812) in 1792-1794. Located south of the abbey's forecourt and consisting of three wings of two storeys along the east, south and west sides of a courtyard and a short north wing of three storeys at right angles to the west wing. On the northwest corner a gatehouse from 1851.
Except for the barn in the middle of the south wing, which is built somewhat higher and provided with a gabled roof, the wings are provided with hipped roofs. The whole is built of brick with the application of hardstone for the segmental arch mouldings of windows and entrances and sandstone for the gate mouldings. The facade on the courtyard side of said barn was given extra monumental detailing and was articulated among other things with Doric pilasters. In the interior, components were used from the previous building for which the farmhouse was substituted: the southern service building of abbot Winandus Lamberti (1650-1664). In the residential section a Doric mantelpiece with the date 1792 inscribed on the lintel coat of arms at the time of relocation. Furthermore, among others, a marble mantelpiece and a door with rich moulding, both second half of the 17th century.
