Omschrijving
Het nog grotendeels aanwezige vestingwerk met negentiende eeuwse bemuurde aarden wal waartegen bastions (zeventiende eeuw). Op diverse plekken in het muurwerk bevinden zich rondelen en hekels.
De zuidzijde is het best bewaard met de voorliggende gracht, bemuurde wal met landschappelijke aanleg en de bastions Oranje (1634), Baselaar (1622) en St.Anthonie (1625).
Aan het Muntelbolwerk langs de Aa funderingen van de voormalige bastions (voorwerken) nabij de verdwenen Hinthamerpoort.

Description
The largely still present fortification with nineteenth-century bricked earthen rampart against which bastions (seventeenth century). At various places in the masonry are located roundels and chevaux-de-frise.
The south side is best preserved with the moat in front, bricked rampart with landscape design and the bastions Oranje (1634), Baselaar (1622) and St.Anthonie (1625).
At the Muntelbolwerk along the Aa foundations of the former bastions (outworks) near the disappeared Hinthamerpoort.
