Omschrijving
Stoomgemaal aan de Delftse Vliet, gebouwd blijkens een stichtingssteen in de noordelijke gevel in 1873 om samen met de windmolen aan de Spiering watering de Plaspoelpolder te bemalen. Bakstenen gebouw in electische vormen met van een verdieping met pannen schilddak voorzien middengedeelte en lagere zijvleugels onder zadeldaken. Spitsbogige en rondboogvensters en houten kroonlijsten. Het gemaal, waarvan de stoommachine in 1924 vervangen werd door een horizontale dieselmotor van het merk "Crossley" (45 P. Description
Steam pumping station on the Delftse Vliet, built according to a foundation stone in the northern facade in 1873 to pump together with the windmill on the Spiering the Plaspoelpolder. Brick building in eclectic forms with a central section provided with one storey with tiled hipped roof and lower side wings under saddle roofs. Pointed arch and round arch windows and wooden cornices.
