Voormalige meisjesschool, gebouwd in 1883 naar ontwerp van de stadsarchitect Jacques Leyn.
Rechthoekig pand in eclectisch neo-renaissancevormen.
Forse natuurstenen middenrisaliet in de gevel aan de Prins Hendrikstraat; hoekrisalieten met rustica aan de Wilhelminastraat.
De parterre wordt van de verdieping gescheiden door een geprofileerde, natuurstenen waterlijst.
Vensters met getoogde omlijstingen, in de voorgevel met gebogen fronton en schijnbalustraden.
Ingangspartij met Toscaanse half zuilen en fronton.

Rectangular building in eclectic neo-Renaissance forms.
Striking natural stone central risalit in the facade on the Prins Hendrikstraat; corner risalits with rustication on the Wilhelminastraat.
The ground floor is separated from the storey by a profiled, natural stone drip moulding.
Windows with arched surrounds, in the front facade with curved pediment and false balustrades.
Entrance section with Tuscan half columns and pediment.
