Omschrijving
Achttiende-eeuwse versterking het Bossche of Hoge Front. Gelegen ten noordwesten van de Statensingel, tussen de Pastoor Habetsstraat en de Cabergerweg. Onder andere de bastions Prins Frederik (gedeeltelijk), Stadhouder (1776), Erfprins (1777) en Holstein zijn bewaard gebleven. Onderaards is de versterking verbonden door middel van een gangenstelsel met bastion Waldeck (rijksmonument 28020). De ingang ligt onder bastion Holstein en het gangenstelsel loopt tot en met de branddeur onder de Pastoor Habetsstraat.

Description
Eighteenth-century fortification the Bossche or High Front. Located northwest of the Statensingel, between the Pastoor Habetsstraat and the Cabergerweg. Among others the bastions Prince Frederik (partially), Stadhouder (1776), Erfprins (1777) and Holstein have been preserved. Underground the fortification is connected by means of a system of galleries with bastion Waldeck (national monument 28020). The entrance lies under bastion Holstein and the gallery system runs up to and including the fire door under the Pastoor Habetsstraat.
