Omschrijving
Stappenconvent. (Grote en Voorster Gasthuis) Gepleisterd eclectisch gebouw op L-vormige plattegrond, gebouwd in 1858. De beide vleugels hebben een verdieping en met pannen gedekte schilddaken. Hoekrisalieten en, tegen de voorgevel van de vleugel, een drie traveeën brede middenrisaliet, waarin zich voor een recente verbouwing de ingang bevondt. De vensters van de parterre zijn rechthoekig; de verdieping heeft getoogde vensters, waarvan de omlijstingen rusten op een doorlopende, geprofileerde cordonlijst. De vensters van de vroegere ingangsrisaliet hebben alle hoofdgestellen op consoles. De risaliet bezit bovendien een van een gietijzeren hek voorzien balcon op consoles.

Description
Convent of the Steps. (Great and Voorster Hospice) Plastered eclectic building on L-shaped ground plan, built in 1858. Both wings have one storey and pan-tiled hipped roofs. Corner risalits and, against the front facade of the wing, a middle risalit three bays wide, in which the entrance was located before a recent alteration. The windows of the ground floor are rectangular; the upper storey has arched windows, whose surrounds rest on a continuous, profiled cordon moulding. The windows of the former entrance risalit all have main frames on consoles. The risalit also has a balcony with cast-iron railing on consoles.
