Omschrijving
Burgerweeshuis. In neo-classicistische stijl opgetrokken, 1859 gedateerd, gepleisterd gebouw, bestaande uit twee in elkaars verlengde gelegen, door een poortje met dubbele pilasters en tympaan verbonden ondiepe vleugel met schilddaken, lijstgevels cordonband en typische vensteromlijstingen. Loodrecht op de achterzijde van de rechtervleugel een derde onderkelderde vleugel onder schilddak met midden paviljoen, dakkapel met omlijsting. Op consoles tegen de gevel zes beelden van weeskinderen (XVII-XVIII).

Description
Citizens' orphanage. Built in neo-classical style, dated 1859, plastered building, consisting of two shallow wings located end-to-end, connected by a small gate with double pilasters and tympanum with hipped roofs, cornice-topped facades with cordon band and typical window surrounds. Perpendicular to the rear of the right wing a third cellaraged wing under hipped roof with central pavilion, roof dormer with surround. On consoles against the facade six statues of orphan children (17th-18th centuries).
