The Department's description

A two-storey gabled house formerly with timber sliding sash vertically hung windows, but now semi-derelict, without chimneys. It stands in a farmyard to the rear of a modern bungalow. The row of cottages which stood on the other side of the road in 1970 and with which it formed a group, have now been demolished. The group was described in the first survey in 1970 as follows: 'A group of buildings consisting of a two-storey house with D/H windows and full g.b. now used as an outbuilding, having been replaced by a modern bungalow, and a row of cottages with harled and whitened walls, in two of which the windows are modern insertions. A good group originally.'

Appears on OS map of 1832. By 1970 it had been abandoned as a residence for a modern bungalow nearby.
