The National Monuments Service's description
From: O’Mahony, A. (1987, 9, h) In a window in the E wall of the N transept are the remains of a wedge-shaped slab (L 0.9m). Only the upper half remains. It shows a cross with fleur-de-lis ends and above this is the head of a man resting on a cushion. His hair curls above his ears. The face is considerably worn. Beneath the left arm of the cross are the remains of an inscription in Lombardic lettering: +WIL...and beneath DOV: Date: 13th century. (Hunt 1974, vol. 1, 238, No. 265)
