The National Monuments Service's description

From: O’Mahony, A. (1987, 10, 11, m) Attached to the E wall of the N transept are the remains of a thick, coffin-shaped slab (Wth 0.52-0.62m; H 0.9m) with an elaborate central cross. The inscription in lombardic lettering is on the left chamfer and begins with: HIC IACET....(Here lies....).
