From: O’Mahony, A. (1987, 7, e) In a niche in the E wall of the N transept are the remains of a slab bearing the effigy of a man. It is rather worn and the uppermost part, including head and neck, is missing (Wth 0.46-0.64m; H 1.61m). His tunic, with long, tight-fitting sleeves, reaches to mid-calf. He also wears an over-garment, the sleeves of which reach to just above the elbow. His right hand rests on his waist; his left, which is gloved, is by his side and holds the second glove. He wears pointed shoes and his feet stand on separate oval supports. Date: probably late 13th century. (Hunt 1974, 238-9, No. 267)
