The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low rise and surrounded by hills within c. 1.5km in all directions except to the SW. Circular grass and fern-covered area (diam. c. 30m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 2m) with a complete outer fosse (Wth of top 4-6.5m; D 2m), and an outer bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 2m; ext. H 1m) surviving S-NE. There is no visible entrance. Booladrum church (WX010-013001-) is immedately to the N.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
