The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a low rise and surrounded by hills within c. 1.5 km in all directions except to the SE. The church (WX010-013001-) known as Seana Kyle - the old church (Hore 1901-11, vol. 6, 666) is within a slightly raised quadrilateral area (dims. c. 20-40m E-W; c. 20-30m N-S) defined by a field bank and townland boundary with Ballyandrew at SW, a field bank at N and a slight scarp (H 0.2m) at E and SE. There is no evidence of burial, and the bullaun stone (WX010-013003-) from here is now kept at Ballyboy c. 4.5km to the W. Rath (WX010-019----) is immediately adjacent to the S.
