The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a natural rise in rushy reclaimed grassland with wide views of the surrounding countryside. A stream running roughly E-W lies 80m to N. present remains consist of a large raised circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 37m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks and a deep intervening fosse. The outer bank is levelled from E-S. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.7m) in the inner bank, and a causeway across the fosse (Wth 2.9m) at E. There is a possible hut site (WM013-013001-), visible as a platform in the centre of the interior.
